Ingredients
1 cup lukewarm water
2 1/2 Tablespoons sugar
2 1/2 Tablespoons oil
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons quick-rise instant yeast
3 cups all-purpose white flour
Preparation
Step 1
Put all 6 ingredients in a bowl. Stir. Let set 5 minutes.
Step 2
Knead in bowl with dough hook or by hand 4-5 minutes. If after a couple of minutes the dough is still really sticky, add a couple more tablespoons of flour.
Step 3
Let raise in cold oven with the oven light on for 40 minutes.
Step 4
Shape into a loaf
Step 5
Let raise another 40 minutes. Gently take out of oven and preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. When oven is hot, bake for 35 minutes.
